Great, fantastic, brilliant, glad to see KEBB are still around. I was an MJ & KEBB fan in the '70s. Next time KEBB are in reasonable travelling distance I'll be along to see/hear.

Just bought the new CD, and enjoying it very much, it's excellent.
Having seen Mungo Jerry live and Quo many times, plus a couple of John Coghlan Diesel band gigs (Croydon & Guildford)and finally a few Jackie Lynton Band gigs, it all seems to fit together - Mungo Jerry, Quo,Savoy Brown Blues Band ( Jackie ). Now I just need to see KEBB live. Oh, and one other connection (Diesel Band), I saw Micky Moody back in December with M3.
Anyway, great to see real music still being played.

1st visit, good site, good history. I'm related to Colin, through my Grandmother (Pittard) havn't seen him for 40 Years though. But Mungo Jerry is why I started playing guitar and still do. Our band's recently been looking back and going a bit honky tonk and I've been playing all the old MJ stuff. The riffs and hooks still sound great!! Keep playing and I must make some of your gigs this year.

Mr. Peabody: Merry Christmas and thanks for the KEBB CD; I look forward to listening to it. It looks like you're still playing that baby-puke green guitar you bought from Gerald's Guitar Center in North Charleston. A shame, but he's out of business now. Could be because of you. Keep boogie-ing and maybe see you one of these days.

jean jacques <jjbedrossian@airfrance.fr>, Cannes - FRANCE Tue Aug 12 09:24:50 2003
Hi,
We went to see KING EARL BOOGIE BAND in Villers sur Mer last Friday 8th, during their mini Tour de France.
It was a really good gig with a very good audience (even that it is was free and that many people did not come especially to see KEBB)
After the gig, I have had a little chat with Colin (first time I see Colin), and then with Les Calvert (I remembered him a gig when he was with Mungo Jerry, it was In Croydon, on the 24th
December 1983 !!!) and Ian Campbell.
They were a little bit surprised when I asked them to sign some old records like "Skeleton Crew" or KEBB original
French 45 from 1972 !!
After the gig, they have sold (at least) 3 big boxes of CD to the public who seemed to have appreciated their music very much.
During the gig, they played "In the Summertime", lead vocals by Les Calvert.
Dave Peabody mentioned 2-3 times Mungo Jerry, when he presented Colin as one of the original founder of MJ, and Les Calvert who played many years with Ray.
So, I did not regret to have travelled to see them, except that my camera was not able to work (my battery went down just after 5-6 photos .....!!!!)
I was a little bit disappointed that they did not played "Plastic Jesus"
I was hoping to meet Paul King but sadly he was not there.
Ian told me that he played with them just the week before during gigs in England.
I hope to see KEBB again in the future (and who knows with Paul in the mine up)
All the best,
A bientôt,
JJ
